It had lots of scratches and chips from being on display.
I used sandpaper to strip back the old coating and scratches, then spray painted the bear with two coats
I repaired it to give a new identity, instead of not using it again. Restoring something that is in perfectly good condition, just by using a few materials that I had already; just made sense
It's important because there is no need to waste things that can be so easily repaired. Our society has become lazy as 'new' things are so accessible. So giving things a new lease of life is the best option
