A deep pothole in the road was repaired shortly before municipal elections after many residents complained.

Municipal workers came and poured cement into the pothole in the middle of the road.

I didn’t but I did help call attention to it.

In this case, it was a dangerously deep pothole likely to cause accidents on a poorly lit road.
