The joint between the bulb holder and the electric wire cover was broken. The light shade plus bulb was hanging loosely, and the electrical connection was broken.

They repaired it with tape as the joint holder was broken.

The lamp is from a design shop in Germany. I have not seen a lamp in India which you can plug into the plug directly without a wire cord. It is useful as a bathroom mirror lamp as it is flexible.

For every new item which is manufactured natural resources are used. There are only limited natural resources available. Our desire for brand-new things is not sustainable.
