I lost the fancy sink bolt when I was shaking out the filter into the bin and never found it after having a good rummage with a plastic bag on my hand

i had to get a small nut and bolt kit from a hardware store, in order to get a 5mm nut. I added the bolt only to find it was too narrow to hold it all together. so, i cut the top off of a milk bottle cap to help tie it all together

Without this repair my flatmate and I couldn't grab the plug in order to drain the sink

Its about sustainability and not falling into consumerism just because it's easy. Because I wasn’t able to find the exact same thing I had to create a solution
