Decoration on the kitchen counter

I used fevi-kwick to glue it and then used medical tape over it to be sure.

It was a little bent, so I thought a hammer would straighten it out; unfortunately, it didn't work and became worse.

I want to reduce my footprint by avoiding unnecessary discarding of my things. If I can fix, reuse or repair these things, then why not.
