The microphone was not functioning. Looked like a wire break.

I opened the conector and confirmed that one of the wires was broken. I re-soldered everything and by chance the new cable ended up longer than the original.

Because it was the day before my daughter’s bday and we’d like to set up a karaoke for the kids.

Because we can have it immediately done and because it’s fun.
