The phone died and was not repairable in various places in Europe and the UK but it was brought to India on a trip and it was fixed. However on charging it, post the repair in India the phone died but perhaps this was due to the battery, which has not yet been replaced.

Even though the phone is an old model it was a really good but of hardware and there was content on it to retrieve.

It still can work, so why throw it way.
