Slats in the blinds broke/fell out meaning you can see straight through them

Student house item... I arrived at the house with the blinds like this. The object itself couldn't be repaired, as I did not have individual slats to put back into the blind. As a temporary repair, I had to put a cushion/paper in front of the window at night to block the hole

I didn't repair it, but I improvised and used other materials to still be able to use it.

Repairing items teaches us invaluable/transferrable skills that we apply to other things in life. It makes the objects we have more personal and helps battle consumerism
