A small piece over the on/off button wore out and detached from the rest of the case.
The piece was carefully glued back to the phone case and held onto until it was dry enough and would stay on its own.
I didn't want to throw away an entire phone case just because of that one small piece that was broken. It seemed like a waste and it would mean producing more trash. So I wanted to give the repair a try and maybe extend the phone case's use for a little longer.
I think we buy so many things; sometimes cheap, so it feels like it's ok to just throw away when it's broken. But I believe repairing has a great impact on waste reduction, and therefore, on our consuming habits, avoiding that more unnecessary goods are produced and consumed.
