The chair arm was being corroded by its contact with the table causing a hole.

I filled the hole with EVA pieces and sticked transparent adhesive tape all around.

Because it's the chair that I use everyday in my office. The hole was ugly and it was starting to get unserviceable to hold the arm.

Because it extends the life that objects that are important for us in daily life, avoiding the need to buy a new one.
