Both the units had volume issues.

The repair person suggested that I sell these off as they had no value now, and repairing them would be useless. I still got him to make it work, but it died within few hours, as it couldn't handle the volume and bass.

I was just curious if it could work or not. I knew these speakers were ancient.

Good for our environment; we don't have to mine for resources as we repair that thing. It's a good practice to adopt.
