What was repaired?

The clothes dryer needed the pegs replacing as they were plastic and most had snapped. I also replaced the strings on it as plastic links had broken.
I made a new fabric bag for the peg bag as the one before was plastic and was broken into several pieces held together with gaffer tape.

How was it repaired?

I put new pegs on the clothes dryer using garden wire that I had in my shed and tied new string to the top part.
I sewed a new peg bag using a piece of scrap fabric I had in my rag bag.

Why was it repaired?

Both objects are very useful items that I use all the time and don't like throwing things out if I can repair them. I also enjoy the process and the challenge.

Why is repair important?

I think everything that can be fixed should be to avoid waste and reduce the negative impact on the environment.
