Hired a professional who repairs these particular types of bamboo chairs and shades. He had to remove the old and broken bamboo case and weave a new one.

The chair had a few holes and from few places, the stitching became loose. This chair was given to me by my mother as a housewarming gift. These bamboo chairs were with my mother's side of the family for 62 years.

Nowadays these kinds of bamboo chairs are not used or made, earlier you could find so many repairers but now it is so hard to find them. It is important to repair things as it helps to restore the emotions attached to them, by repairing this chair I have added few more years to its life.
