My campervan shelf was too tight and made of a horrible material, so I replaced it with a piece of plywood.

I removed the old shelf and replaced with a piece of plywood which I CNC cut to the correct size, sanded and oiled to finish. This was attached to pieces of string either side with a couple of metal hooks, so that the strong holds the shelf flat in place

The old shelf looked horrible and was too tight a fit, so was really annoying to use

Things can be improved and work better if you take the time to repair
