Carmela Pietrangelo, Independent Researcher and Producer, UK

Carmela Pietrangelo is currently studying for an MA in Creative Producing at the Digital Cultures Research Centre, University of the West of England. She graduated with a BA in English from Queen Mary, University of London in 2011, and has since worked in media, arts and education. She worked as a factual television researcher on arts and history documentaries for channels including BBC2, BBC4 and H2. Between 2012-2014 she produced videos and managed events for the poetry charity, Poet in the City, as well as producing a short drama film to inaugurate the Rimbaud and Verlaine Foundation. Carmela has also worked in education in a variety of capacities: at a primary school, as a private tutor, and a disabilities support worker. As a musician, Carmela has toured the UK, US and Europe and recorded on four albums and two EPs with various DIY bands.
